Enlil’s mother was the half sister to Anu and this union passed on the male genes more efficiently than Enki’s birth via another mother. Later the Tablets describe how the Anunnaki created bloodlines to rule humanity on their behalf and these, I suggest, are the families still in control of the world to this day. The Sumerian Tablets describe how kingship was granted to humanity by the Anunnaki and it was originally known as Anu- ship after An or Anu, the ruler of the ‘gods’.
